The members of the jury gave the B&S MBX ‘Heritage’ trumpet made by Buffet Crampon Deutschland GmbH above-average ratings in all respects. They were particularly impressed by the pleasing tone, especially the deeper notes, which was coupled by a powerful sound and an excellent response. The deep notes were given the highest marks when it came to tuning, which was also given a high overall rating. The trumpet was described as easy to play and very balanced. All musicians said the valves were good. Also highly rated was the set of accessories, which includes valve caps and triggers for varying the properties of the instrument in many different ways
